Amentum has announced an opening for a Diver to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission based on Andros Island, Bahamas. This specialized role requires candidates who can obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance, making US Citizenship a mandatory requirement for all applicants.

About This Role

The selected Diver will perform strictly limited “No Decompression” dives at depths not exceeding 100 feet of seawater. Responsibilities include utilizing open circuit SCUBA gear to recover, inspect, repair, install, and remove devices from USN marine vessels and structures. Additionally, the role involves operating and maintaining diving air systems per OSHA standards, as well as managing heavy equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and tractor-trailers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Not specified, but must meet technical diving certification standards.
  • Experience: Professional diving experience with SCUBA and heavy machinery operation.
  • Additional: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
