Mobena: Frontend Engineer

A unique opportunity has emerged for a dedicated UI Engineer to join Mobena, a remote-first startup currently disrupting the multi-generational tax and estate planning sector. As the company’s first dedicated frontend hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the interface of their flagship product, Mobena Evolution, while working directly alongside the founders.

About This Role

You will be responsible for taking evolving Figma concepts and transforming them into fast, maintainable, and scalable user interfaces. The role grants you the autonomy to choose and justify the frameworks and tools that best fit the project's needs, moving beyond existing prototype code. You will collaborate closely with the backend-focused CTO and the designer-founder to ensure a seamless integration with their standard HTTP API.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Not specified; focus is on technical capability and architectural decision-making.
  • Experience: Proven ability to own and build frontend architecture from the ground up.
  • Additional: Must be comfortable working in a high-autonomy, three-person startup environment.
